“You Will Go Far With CTR”

I will go far with CTR everyone has a huge goal but some people will never get to that goal  because of what they do in the pass will mess them up  some people will  make it but it doesn’t mean it going to be for long they get high drunk but the other they still go far my goal is to be in the NBA but if that doesn’t work I have another dream but not a big one  and I will go far with that other dream in 10^th grade I will start playing basketball and I will choose the right you can’t do wrong and feel right it’s impossible so I will do what right and start  everything next semester and  in class I will work I will listen and respect my teacher I will Choose The Right And I will  play basketball to get to play what I do best or football and to stay on the basketball team I will do what right is to be successful and I will pass all my classes with and d or better that is what Is right if I work hard work smart I can

Never steal

Never lie

Never smoke

Never drink

 

So do what right and succeed in life if not you will always fall behind and if you do pick yourself back  up and do what right be a boss of yourself don’t forget the three  d’s

Destiny and you always will succeed and reach your destiny

And you will do what right you will have a great family a great life a good job and will have everything that you had want in life so this will happen if you always choose the right

After some serious soul searching Kennedy decided she was made for a

Purpose: to be successful and to fulfill who she was destined to be she returned to DCCC with determination and a mindset that I would not fail with God leading me

She say her first semester back was difficult I knew I could find refuge in the student success program Kennedy said to my benefits Ms. Gravely accepted me back because of my struggles and hard times I seek a new beginning every day and don’t allow the past to cripple my future I have learned to have self-value

As Kennedy lay crumpled in her hospital bed following the accident she realized that many of her wounds were invisible after the car accident I suffered from low self-esteem and depression she said for years I allowed someone I loved to physically mentally and emotionally abuse me

She had previously tried taking a few DCCC classes but said she was immature and not ready for academic challenge she dropped out after the accident she returned to DCCC to take cosmetology classes she left school a second time and began working as a certified nursing assistant after yet another car accident she felt unstable hopeless and didn’t know what to do

Student success story

Andrea packer anticipates graduating with a B.A. in education from Catawba in December 2011 and then enrolling in the master of art in teaching program from Salem College also offered on the Davidson campus. Packer spend her days on the Davidson campus working 29  

 Hours a week as a teaching assistant for instructors in DCCC early childhood education program

Not only did receiving this scholarship make me study harder and the best could be but it’s also allowed me to graduate in May 2010 with my associate degree totally pair for she said I couldn’t believe I had my first degree and was debt free what a wonderful blessing

If student work hard during high school complete all assignment on time and demonstrate a bright positive attitude toward school leaning and other people then they can be highly successful as a high school student and qualify for academic scholarship also all they need to do is put in the time study time all hard work and effort during high school will definitely pay off they will be rewarded for their   hard work but if they just mess around during their high school years and neglect their studies use drugs and mistreat others then they can expect to fall short of what could have been their rewards of scholarship and other opportunities and they will suffer in the short and long term invest

How to Always Succeed in School

Part 5

Write. Writing is a way to express you: your ideas, opinions and knowledge. And you may do a lot of it in college and on the job.

Write a little every day. Try keeping a daily journal to make a habit of writing.

Read outside class to increase your vocabulary and understanding of grammar.

Break up long writing sessions into shorter periods with regular breaks.

Let your writing sit for a while and then come back to it.

Read your writing out loud or have someone read it to you.

Edit someone else’s writing and let that person edit yours.

Learn to write and write to learn.

Write creatively. Writing on your personal web blog is a great way to put your words into writing and to journalize your writing day after day.

Write your life history.

Write your life’s goals in a journal review these goals often; revise your goals as needed. But, write them down.

Watkins is a May 2012 candidate to receive her associate degree in nursing she hopes to pursue her B.S.N at Winston –Salem state university and eventually get her master’s degree in nursing

Setting educational goal and working hard to achieve them brings a great feeling of accomplishment it builds self-esteem and increases self-confidence education opens up many doors of opportunity people that normally would not open up for people
